WebRidership on CyRide buses increases dramatically whenever ISU classes are in session. Some of the hours assigned will be "on call" shifts. A driver must be available to work during their "on call" shift to drive for a sick driver, but may not get called in at all. A driver is only paid 50 cents per hour when waiting for a call from CyRide. Webpassengers per day (ridership) is available but not the number of passengers riding the bus at a given time. CyRide rotates buses into and off the system to meet peak travel demands.
